BUDE — Services for Clifton Donald Geter Sr., 67, of Meadville, who died Friday, March 13, 2009, at Meadville Convalescent Home, will be at 6 p.m. today at Bude Baptist Church.

Burial will be at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Franklin Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Geter was born Jan. 12, 1942, in Wilkinson County, the son of Clinton Elmo Geter and Mildred Vines Dover Geter.

Mr. Geter was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Ronald Geter; twin brothers, Melton and Milton; and a sister, Rita Huff.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Huff Geter of McCall Creek; sons, Shawn Johnson of Ocean Springs, Clifton D. Geter Jr. of Denham Springs and David Geter of Gonzales; daughter, Sara Hall of Denham Springs; brothers, John Lee Dover of Crosby, Boyce William Dover of Woodville and Gordon Dover of Eddiceton; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
