NATCHEZ — Services for Lzucule Roberthia Green Clark Sampson, 59, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Natchez, who died Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at Harris Methodist Hospital, will be at 11a.m. Wednesday at Greater Mount Sinai Baptist Church with the Rev. James Beverly officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sampson was born Dec. 14, 1949, in Natchez, the daughter of Wilson Green Sr. and Veola D. Green. She received her doctorate in education from Alcorn State University. She was an educator in the Jefferson County Public Schools and retired after 36 years of service. She was a member of Greater Mount Sinai Baptist Church where she served as an usher.
Mrs. Sampson loved all children and always believed that all children were capable of learning.
She was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Survivors include four sons, Enos Clark, Juan’L Clark, X’Lenske Sampson Sr. and Joseph Sampson; two daughters, Quophyyarn Sampson Tinner and husband, Eric, and Weylander Sampson; and two brothers, Joseph Green and Clarence Green.
