LORMAN – Services for Smith Louisville Sr., 90, of Lorman, who died Saturday, March 14, 2009, at River Regional Medical Center, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenneth Louisville officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Fayette.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Louisville was born May 28, 1918, in Jefferson County, the son of Norah Louisville Sr. and Ada Alexander.
He was a bulldozer operator and a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church.
Mr. Louisville was preceded in death by his three brothers and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Louisville; four daughters, Bertha Bilton of San Antonio, Shelly Thomas of Lorman, Sarah Wilson and husband, Willie, both of Byram and Linda Harried and husband, Arnell Sr., both of Lorman; three sons, Freddie Louisville and wife, Cynthia, both of Houston, Smith Louisville Jr. and wife, Lola, both of Kennesaw, Ga., Dr. Tommy Louisville and wife, Marva, both of Winterhaven, Fla.; daughter, Mrs. Eddie Alexander of Port Gibson; 20 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Honorary pallbearers will be family members.
