Vidalia — Brandon Andrews, a rising new singing talent in the Southern Gospel Music Field will be ministering at the next First Saturday Gospel Music Fest at 6 p.m. on Saturday at Cornerstone Church in Vidalia.
Andrews has been featured with many of the popular gospel music groups in the past few years and has also sang at many churches in the regional area.
While his roots are in Southern gospel music, this young man from Mississippi has developed a unique and progressive sound that combines southern gospel with a fresh new sound.
Andrews said his top priority in concert is to lift up Christ in his music while presenting the gospel to the listener through song and testimony.
His professionalism and pursuit of excellence are only superseded by his ability to connect with an audience through of message of love, grace and forgiveness.
Although he is involved in many endeavors to continue to keep a busy touring and recording schedule, Andrews cherishes the time he spends with his friends or family. Whether on a concert stage, in a church sanctuary or having a quiet rest at home, his focus remains on God.
First Saturday is a community event and everyone is invited to attend. There is no admission but a love offering will be received. For information call 318-336-4690
