UNION CHURCH — Services for M.L. Good Sr., 76, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 22, 2009, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hickory Block United Methodist Church with the Rev. Burnell Newsome Sr. officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Good was born May 10, 1932, in Union Church, the son of Leo Good and Hattie Mae Crump Good. He was retired from Holsum Bakery. He was a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Gary Good.
Survivors include his wife, Lillie V. Starks Good; eight children, Joe Lee Good and wife, Diane, James Good and wife, Patricia, M.L. Good Jr., Patricia Patterson and husband, Ronnie, Brenda Good, Michael Good, Donald Good and wife, Connie, all of Natchez, and Randy Good of Dallas; one brother, Edward Good and wife, L.T.; one sister, LeEthel Levison, all of Natchez; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be John Young, Howard Young, Cleveland Good, Larry Good, Eddie Young and Charles Good.
Honorary pallbearers will be Marcus McDonald, Demond Henderson, Tyrone Good, Hiwatha Fleming, Corey Good and Joseph Good.
