NATCHEZ — Services for Cassandra Lynette Pickett, 47, of Natchez, who died Friday, May 15, 2009, at River Oaks Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Wake services will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the church and visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday also at the church.
Miss Pickett was born Oct. 31, 1962, in Natchez, the daughter of Sam Edward Washington and Margaret Denise Pickett.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two loving daughters, Ebony Margaret Pickett and Jasmine Ann Pickett, both of Natchez; one granddaughter, Breonna Erin Dunagan of Natchez; two sisters, Margie Denise Shannon and Andre Pickett Woods and husband, Gary, all of Natchez; three brothers, Donald Pickett of California, Sam Pickett and Barney Schoby and wife, Pamela, all of Natchez; four aunts, Elsie Pickett and Ruby Green, both of Natchez, Joyceria Schoby and husband, Barney Sr., of Jackson, and Earnestine Pickett of Cleveland, Ohio; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
