GLENMORA, La. — Services for Lillian Seal Hollingsworth, 77, of Glenmora, La., who died on May 21, 2009, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Glenmora United Methodist Church with the Rev. Eddie Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenmora Cemetery under the direction of White Oaks in Oakdale.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Hollingsworth was born Feb. 1, 1932 in Blanche, La., the daughter of Henry Ervin Seal and Mary Pearl Hickman Seal.
She dearly loved her family and many friends. She loved all animals and was happiest working in her yard.
She was active in the United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women of Glenmora, the Natchez Garden Club, her sewing circle in Natchez, and was president of the Glenmora Cemetery Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two half brothers, Frank Hart and George Seal.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Hollingsworth; her two daughters, Terry Hollingsworth of Glenmora, LilAnn Pace and husband Dave of Brookhaven; one son, Guy Hollingsworth and wife Susan of London, England; four grandsons, Cole Brown of Baton Rouge, Chase Brown of New Orleans, Alexander Hollingsworth of Forest and Stephen Hollingsworth of Natchez; one brother, Francis Henry Seal and wife Betty of Groves, Texas; two nieces, Connie Seal of Port Neches, Texas and Susan Otte of Tiverton, RI.
The family would like to thank the caregivers of Brighton Bridge Hospice for their care and support
Pallbearers will be Cole Brown, Chase Brown, Charles Seal, Clyde Connell, Tommy Mizell and Marvin Pringle.
