FERRIDAY — Services for Demhria Lajoi Scott, 2, of Ridgecrest, who died Thursday, June 12, 2009, at her residence following a lengthy illness, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Concordia Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Freddie Schiele officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Demhria was born April 4, 2007, in Natchez, the daughter of Demetrius Milligan and Jacqueline Scott.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Brenda Milligan.
Survivors include her mother and companion, LaDarrius Wiggins; her father and companion, Wendy Paul; three sisters, Brenija, Maleighane and Tamhijah Scott; three brothers, Demetrius Scott, Nicholas Birdon and Dalen Green; grandparents, Ruby Scott, Andrew Smith, Willie Milligan, Elnora Milligan and Veronica Ford; eight aunts, Pamela Scott, Tanganyika Scott, LaTrisha Hall and husband, Deshawn, Esther Moore and husband, Keon, Emma Lewis and husband, Clifton, Northa Tolliver, Emma Conner and Minnie Spurs and husband, Ike; five uncles, Andrew Smith and wife, Sheketha, Curtis Scott, Rodney Jefferson and wife, Shawnty, Melvin Milligan and James Milligan, all of Ferriday; and a number of cousins and other relatives.
