GALLMAN — The Natchez 9-year-old All-Stars were eliminated from the District 6 Sub-district Tournament Friday afternoon after a 10-1 loss to the Copiah All-Stars.

Natchez coach Josh Hargon said the differences in the game were too many errors by the team’s defense and not being aggressive at the plate.

“It wasn’t good. We played bad defense and just did not make the routine plays,” Hargon said. “The other thing was not wanting to swing the bats with two strikes. We were just watching the pitch go by for strike three. You can’t do that.”
