WILDSVILLE, La. – Services for Steve Boyette, 54, of Wildsville, who died Monday, July 6, 2009, at Rapides General Medical Center in Alexandria, La., will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Evangeline Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Boyette was born March 24, 1955, in Jonesville.
He was a member of Evangeline Baptist Church and served his country in the U. S. Army.
Mr. Boyette was preceded in death by his father, Robert Rankin Boyette.
Survivors include his mother, Audrey Mize and stepfather, Terry, both of Vidalia; one sister, Jean Crooks of Berkeley, Calif.; two brothers, Roger Crooks and Bobby Boyette, both of Houston, Texas; girlfriend, Yvonne Betencort and her children, all of Wildsville.
