TWENTY YEARS AGO — A field of 200 riders, including top riders Mike Kirtley of Baton Rouge, Larry Thompson of Shreveport and Jay Osborne of Atlanta, Ga., have already registered for the Natchez Bicycle Classic.
TEN YEARS AGO — Winning pitcher Dustin Case has two doubles and a triple as the Natchez Wallace All-Stars advance to the sub-district tournament finals by defeating the Franklin County All-Stars 12-8.
FIVE YEARS AGO — Caleb Johnson hits a two-run home run in the first inning and Audie Crosby adds a solo shot in the second as Natchez defeats the Brookhaven Americans 10-4 to go to the sub-district tournament finals.
