Nathcez — Britton & Koontz Bank announces the promotion of Gaston Carby to assistant vice president of lending in its Baton Rouge market area.

Carby, with B&K since 2003, has worked in the areas of relationship manager, credit analyst and mortgage loan originator — all in B&K’s Baton Rouge market. A 1992 graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School, he holds bachelors and masters degrees in business administration from the University of Mississippi . He has previous work experience as a business and information analyst with Electronic Data Systems of Plano, Texas.

He is married to Mollie Cannon Carby. He is the son of Judge and Mrs. Charles L. Vess and Mr. and Mrs. Philip E. Carby.
