Four teens arrested for 22 parish burglaries

VIDALIA — Four teenagers were arrested Thursday in connection with 22 Concordia Parish burglaries, according to a statement from the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office.
The four boys — one is 14, the other three 15 — were charged in connection with burglaries that were committed between June 29 and July 21. The burglaries were of both residences and vehicles.
The charges range from simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling to aggravated burglary, and a total of 10 warrants were issued against the teens Thursday.
According to the statement, three of the teens face three charges each, while one is only faces one charge.
The burglaries — committed in the Vidalia area — happened in the area where the teens live.
CPSO investigators have reported some of the stolen property was sold but some has been recovered, the statement said.
Items stolen include weapons, a Nintendo, other electronic game devices and other items. The investigation is ongoing.
