NATCHEZ — Area Girl Scouts are invited to gather from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. today at Dairy Queen in Natchez for Girl Scout Appreciation week.
The girls will gather again from 10 a.m. to noon on Aug. 15.
Girls will be interviewing restaurant employees about their jobs and learning to make Blizzards themselves.
Girl Scouting is open to all girls in grades kindergarten through 12th grade, therefore these events are open to all girls within these grade ranges. Girl Scouts Greater Mississippi, Membership Manager Julia Wilkinson and Girl Scouts of Louisiana — Pines to the Gulf, Membership Specialist Jeannie Couture will be available to help you with registering girls into local troops and distributing coupons for the “Girl Scout” cookie Blizzards.
Troops interested in early bird registrations or re-registrations may come by and see their membership specialist or membership manager.
All girls interested in learning more about Girl Scouting are welcome to come and join us as we celebrate Girl Scout Appreciation Week.
