NATCHEZ – Robert Tageant, 72, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Promise Hospital in Vidalia.
A private service will be at a later date under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Mr. Tageant was born April 25, 1937, in Natchez, the son of Joseph Tageant and Julia Richardson Tageant.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Tageant of Baton Rouge; one sister, Julia Ann Reeves of Natchez; four brothers, Louis Tageant of Vidalia, Joe Tageant of Ferriday, Jessie Tageant of Baton Rouge and Phillip Tageant of Wyoming; and a number of nieces and nephews.
