FERRIDAY — Services for Hattie Mae Crumb, 73, of Ferriday, who died Friday, July 31, 2009, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harvest Baptist Church with the Rev. Clennon Turner officiating.
Burial will follow at Ferriday Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crumb was born Oct. 19, 1935, in Shaw, La., the daughter of Saul and Estella Hooper Clemons.
Mrs. Crumb was a homemaker and was a member of St. Thomas Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alf Crumb; one son, James Edward Lyles; two brothers; and five sisters.
Survivors include one son, David Lyles of Ferriday; two daughters, Marie Whitley and husband, Cordell, of Pontiac, Mich., and Mary Ann Adams and husband, Larry, of Ferriday; one brother, Earnest Clemons and wife, Ethel; six sisters, Bertha King and husband, Prince and Theresa Ford, all of Natchez, Hazel Ford and Odessa Stevenson, both of Ferriday, Barbara J. Clemons and Alberta Clemons, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
