NATCHEZ — Cell phone records were used to help the Natchez Police Department arrest the person they believe to be responsible for robbing a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver late Saturday night on West Stiers Lane.
Natchez Police Sgt. Craig Godbold said police have arrested a 16-year-old girl, whose name he wouldn’t release.
“She was the one with the gun,” Godbold said. “And she had the money for the pizzas, it wasn’t about money.”
Godbold said they were able to locate the girl because the cell phone used to order the pizzas was hers.
“She wasn’t very hard to find,” he said.
While Godbold said there were other people, all minors, at the house when the robbery occurred, it’s not clear whether or not they knew the girl’s intent.
While the driver’s initial reports implicated a male and female in the robbery, no more arrests are planed, Godbold said.
