VIDALIA — Services for James Cubie Jr., 67, of Vidalia, who died Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009, at Promise Hospital will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Union Baptist Church in Vidalia with the Rev. Carl Smith officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Cubie was born March 19, 1942, in Vidalia the son of James and Willie Hynes Cubie.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Dior Cubie Sr.; and one sister, Gladys Cubie.

Survivors include two daughters, Tammy Gorham and husband, Thomas, of Ferriday, Yolanda Green Prince and husband, Cicone, of Mobile, Ala.; sister, Willie Amelia Walker and husband, Central, of St. Louis; seven grandchildren, Terrell Gorham and Tevin Gorham, of Ferriday, Christin Prince, Jessica Prince, Taylor Prince and Johnathan J. Prince, all of Mobile, Ala., and Dior Cubie Jr., of, Las Vegas.
