MEADVILLE — Franklin County softball coach Dana Smith watched her team bounce back in a big way, eclipsing the Cathedral Lady Green Wave 10-0 in slow-pitch softball action.

The Lady Bulldogs (2-1) also got some big hits in a game that only went five innings due to the 10-run mercy rule. Katie Foreman, Vintrice Briggs, Destiny DeDeaux, and Desiree Buie each had two singles. Allison Hauer added a two-RBI double in the fourth.

On the mound, Mildred Starks notched the win, allowing three hits and no runs.
