RHINEHART, La. — Services for William “Bill” Pugh, 58, of Parhams, La., who died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pine Grove Baptist Church with Brother Tony Ganey and Brother Raymond Beard officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery under the directions of Young’s Funeral Home of Jonesville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mr. Pugh was born Jan. 24, 1951, in Ferriday.
He was a consultant in the oil and gas industry and was a member of Parhams Baptist Church.
Mr. Pugh was preceded in death by his father, Tim Pugh and mother, Ferbia Pugh Russell.
Survivors include his wife, Francis Pugh of Jonesville; one daughter, Kari Goldman and husband, Ronnie and their children, Cassidy, Clayton and Cade, all of Texarkana, Texas; one son, William Pugh and wife, Kelly and their children, Jordyn, Brandt, Brooke and Corey, all of Natchez; two brothers, Joe Pugh and wife, Melba, of Jena and T.D. Pugh and wife, Lillian, of Lismore, La.; two sisters, Joyce Spinks and husband, Phillip, of Lismore and Connie Smith and husband, Herb, of Folsum, La.
Pallbearers will be Jared Pugh, Trent Pugh, Chad Spinks, Justin Spinks, H.L. Huffman, Burl James Huffman Jr., Lynn White and Cecil Watts.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Cloessner, Glenn Smith, David Cooper, Leo Barnhill, Buddy Tims, Edwin Holland, Scott Tiffee and Roger Terrell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
