NATCHEZ — Services for Aaron Lee “Al Monday” Green, 43, of Natchez, who died Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, in Natchez, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. James Brooks officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Webb Funeral Home.
Mr. Green was born June 18, 1966, in Adams County, the son of Freddie Green and Mary L. Green. He attended Job Corps in Crystal Springs and was employed by Guido Storage before his illness.
Mr. Green enjoyed spending time with friends, family, working on cars and cooking.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandmother, Carrie Davis; one uncle, James Davis; and one aunt, Ellen Davis.
Survivors include two children, Patricia Green and Yolanda Green, both of Ferriday; his mother; three sisters, Patricia Griggs and husband, Richard, of Houston, Texas, Deloris M. Davis and Carolyn Montgomery, both of Natchez; one grandson of Ferriday; one special friend, Burnadean Bostic of Wiggins; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Riley Montgomery, Joe Thomas, Larry Banks, Patrick Conner, Kevin Williams and Andy Minor.
