Disagreement with government isn’t racism

If one recalls the story of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, you will remember that Ali Baba overheard the 40 thieves open the cave to their treasure trove by uttering the words, “open sesame.” Today, there is an attempt by many to open all doors to riches or close all doors to discussion by uttering the word, “racism.” It seems that no one can disagree without being smeared with such nonsense.

A racist is someone who actually harms another person purely because of their race. Being denied a job by being Hispanic is an example of racism. To disagree harms nobody and can by no definition be labeled as racist.

Jimmy Carter stirred the muck lately by, what I believe, is the Democrat’s attempt to defuse community meetings, resentment toward czars, the disclosures of criminal activity in ACORN and opposition to gone-mad plans for government spending. I want to talk about it. Am I a racist for doing so?

In my opinion, one can readily identify a racist by noting who brought the subject up first. It’s sort of like the kid’s game that boys play of calling out, “Who fired that shot”? You just knew who fired that shot because he was so boisterously trying to deny doing it by mentioning it first.
