NATCHEZ — Services for Frances Louise Jones, 69, of Walker, La., formerly of Natchez, who died Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, in Walker, will be at 11 a.m. today at Laird Funeral Home Union Street Chapel with the Rev. Rob Leverett officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Jones was born Jan. 22, 1940, in Amite County, the daughter of Woodrow Wilson and Flossie Gerald Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas Jones; one sister, Marie Walters Bryan; and one brother, H.E. Palmer.
Survivors include three daughters, Sherry Hester of Natchez, Tommie Louise Jones of Brookhaven and Dee Langford of Franklin County; one son, Greg Jones and wife, Karen, of Walker; five grandchildren, Ashley Jones, Katie Hester, Kara Jones, Cindy Ashmore and Donna Dickerson; two sisters, Doris Buckles of Natchez and Cheryl Brothers of Franklin County; three brothers, Wilson Palmer, Harvey Palmer and Glen Palmer, all of Natchez; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Travis Walters, Tony Buckles, Richard Emanuel, Woody Walters, Michael Ashmore and Archie Grantham.
