FROGMORE, La. — Services for Gloria “Faye” Schiele, 52, of Ferriday, who died Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, at Promise Healthcare Hospital in Vicksburg, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. James Baptist Church with the Rev. Greg Oliver officiating.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Schiele was born Oct. 20, 1957, in Ferriday, the daughter of Willie Conner and Benola Schiele. She was employed by Concordia Parish School System as a paraprofessional.
Survivors include two daughters, Jasmine Schiele and Netrina England; six grandchildren, D’Keiran Morales, D’Mirri England, D’Coven England, Mahogany England, Destyni Garrison and D’Nya Garrison; one aunt, Geneva C. Hawkins; three uncles, the Rev. Freddie Schiele and wife, Mable, Theodore Schiele and wife, Alberta, all of Ferriday, and Wash Wesley of Maywood, Ill.; and a special cousin, Vera Thomas and husband, Emmanuel, of Monroe, La.
