Lorraine Banks

FAYETTE — Services for Lorraine Barefield Banks, 77, of Fayette, who died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hollywood Baptist Church with the Rev. Jesse Brown officiating.
Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.
Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Banks was born Aug. 24, 1932, in Jefferson County, the daughter of George Barefield Jr. and Warrie Crosley. She was retired and a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Benard Banks Sr.; two sons, George Banks Sr. of Destrehan, La., and Bernard Banks Jr. of Vicksburg; four daughters, Dr. Brenda Banks of Columbus, Ohio, Joyce Banks Shepherd, Shirley Banks and Carolyn Banks, all of Fayette; one sister, Doris Morris of Memphis, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the family.
