MONTEREY — Services for Mary Money Poole, 54, of Monterey, who died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, in Monterey, will be at 2 p.m. at Eva Church of God with the Rev. Kevin Simms and the Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating.
Burial will follow at Lone Pine Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Mrs. Poole was born June 23, 1955, in Natchez, the daughter of Virginia and J.D. Money Sr. She was co-owner of Cajun Specialty Meat & Seafood.
Mary was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her father; two brothers, George David Money and Joe Edward Money; and father-in-law, Brunston Edgar Poole.
Survivors include her husband, Greg Poole; two sons, Kevin Poole and Jimmy Poole and wife, Randi, all of Monterey; four grandchildren, Caden, Anna, Joseph and Nicholas Poole; her mother of Ferriday; mother-in-law, Melba Anita Poole; and two brothers, Donald Money of Clayton and Johnny Money II of Ferriday.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Poole, Jared Pugh, Caleb Poole, Ron Poole, Rob Poole, Jessie Poole and John Money III.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Money, Michael Money and Jason Money.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
