Support Junior Auxiliary’s Angel Tree

Christmas is a special holiday for many of us.

We have happy memories and enjoy the festive spirit that is in the air. This spirit makes the Christmas season one of joy, cheer, celebration, family, faith, hope, love and giving.

During this spectacular time, we find ourselves feeling generous with both entertaining and purchasing gifts for our family and friends. That generosity and caring is what Junior Auxiliary is counting on this season.

We are hoping you will help our annual Angel Tree be a success so that we can touch as many young lives as possible this Christmas.

Junior Auxiliary of Natchez is a service organization that focuses on raising finances in order to provide services to children in the community. One of these service projects is our Angel Tree. Catholic Charities and The Department of Human Services each provide Junior Auxiliary a list of children who they feel would best benefit from the Angel Tree. These names are then placed on angel ornaments which are hung on a Christmas tree. You can pick an angel off of the tree, purchase a gift, and return it to the tree wrapped with the angel attached. As our way of saying thanks, we will give an ornament to each person who returns a wrapped gift to Concordia Bank in Natchez.

Concordia Bank and Trust Co. has generously donated their Natchez lobby for the set up of the Angel Tree. Angels will be available in the lobby of Concordia Bank from Tuesday, Dec. 1, through Friday, Dec. 11. Lobby hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. Wrapped gifts will be due back at Concordia Bank by 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11.

The members of Junior Auxiliary not only wish you a Merry Christmas but also wish you to experience the gift of giving. Please help us to light up faces of children this Christmas with joy, excitement and love.

If you, your family, church, or organizations are considering a way to contribute this Christmas, we ask that you remember our angels. They need you.
