Frank Switzer

RIDGELAND — Services for Frank Switzer, 50, of Madison and Vaughan, who died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, at his residence, were Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009, at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland.
Mr. Switzer was born Jan. 5, 1959, in Starkville, the son of Dr. George Lester Switzer and Meadie Montgomery Switzer. He was a 1977 graduate of Starkville High School and a 1981 graduate of Mississippi State University where he also received his master of business administration. He was a lifelong member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Starkville. He was employed by Harcros Chemical, Inc., as senior account manager.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Robyn Reneé Johnson Switzer; three children, Mary Frances Switzer, George Montgomery Switzer and John Exum Switzer; the mother of his children, Luellyn Long Switzer; goddaughter, Emily Love Brandon, all of Starkville; one uncle, George L. Montgomery of Madison; two aunts, Agnes and Martha, both of Ohio; three stepchildren, James Paul Conway III, John Zachary Conway and Julia Brooke Mulder; one brother-in-law, Tim A. Johnson and wife, Carolyn; in-laws, John and Betty Pullen of Natchez, Bobby, Dixie and Powell McCaleb, all of Vaughan; and his beloved bulldog, “Switzer’s Lord What A Mess.”
Pallbearers were E.W. “Skeeter” Stubbs, Steve Price, Kevin Thompson, Gene Merkl, Buddy Collier, Dr. Steven Brandon, Dr. Chris Behr and Jeff McDaniel.
Honorary pallbearers were Joe Tkach, Hardy Russell, Dave Cross, James Paul Conway III, John Zachary Conway, Tim Johnson, Brian Dyess, Don Tackett, John Hamilton, Jeff Taylor, T.C. Collins, Steve Hardee, Honorable Judge Rodney Favor, Rich Wingo and all the employees of Harcros Chemical.
