FERRIDAY — Services for Clara Woodruff, 84, of Ferriday, who died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at her residence, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie Birdon officiating.
Burial will follow at the Natchez National Cemetery under the direction of Concordia Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Woodruff was born Sept. 10, 1925, in St. Joseph, La., the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hebert Lewis. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Blue Woodruff; two sons, James Bowman and wife, Mary Ethel, of Fort Washington, Md., and Melvin Woodruff and wife, Ethel, of Lawton, Okla.; two daughters, Ethel Bowman of Carrollton, Texas and Sarah Bowman of Ferriday; two sisters, Mary Scott and Martha White, both of Ferriday; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
