JONESVILLE — Services for Annie Mae McNeely, 87, of Jonesville, who died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009 at her residence, will be 2 p.m. today at the Mayna Church of God with the Revs. Kevin Sims and Lloyd Trisler officiating.

Burial will follow at Pala Alto under the direction of Young’s Funeral home in Jonesville.

Mrs. McNeely was born June 30, 1922 in Eva, the daughter of Annie Laura and Fred A. Pecanty. She was a lifelong resident of Mayna, a homemaker and a member of the Mayna Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott J. McNeely; her parents; seven brothers, David Pecanty, Ernest Pecanty, Elbert Pecanty, Harvey Pecanty, John Pierre Pecanty, Wesley Pecanty and Clyde Pecanty, and one sister, Maudell Pecanty.

Survivors include four sons, Scott “Jackie” Jackson and wife Lois, Glen McNeely and wife Brenda, all of Mayna, Donald Clay McNeely of Sibley and W.F. McNeely and wife, Debra, of Jena; two daughters, Frances Mae Melton and husband, Fred, of Brookhaven and Laura Faye Ford and husband, Buster, of Lismore; one brother, Kelly Pecanty of Monterey; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Pallbearers will be Scotty McNeely, Ricky Reynolds, Tony McNeely, Steve McNeely, Dustin Bennett and Pat Smith.
