NATCHEZ — The Miss-Lou could see nearly half a foot of snow starting Thursday afternoon and perhaps sticking around through Saturday.

The National Weather Service is predicting up to 5 inches of accumulation across South Mississippi.

A winter storm watch has been issued, but senior meteorologist Mike Edmonston said a warning may soon follow.

Temperatures are predicted to drop into the 20s Friday.
