FERRIDAY — Services for Lucille Bagbey Ellis, 95, of Ferriday, who died Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, in Ferriday, will be at 10 a.m. today at Comer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bo Swilley officiating.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. at Stephenson Cemetery in Rayville, La., under the direction of Comer Funeral Home in Ferriday.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ellis was born Nov. 8, 1914, in Philadelphia, and had been a resident of Ferriday since 1947. She was a retired from Concordia Parish Schools as a bus driver. She was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herschel O. Bagbey Sr., and W.E. Ellis; one son, Robert C. Bagbey; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Herschel O. Bagbey Jr., of Bossier City, La., and Larry Bagbey of Augusta, Ga.; one brother, Horceton Skinner of Monroe, La.; one sister, Sarah Skinner of Monroe; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
