NATCHEZ — Services for Helen Louise Ivory, 79, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Egypt Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
Mrs. Ivory was born June 24, 1930, in Natchez, the daughter of John and Sarah Johnson Carter.
She was preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Joseph Carter.
Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Walter Ivory; four daughters, Sarah McKenzie and Rosetta Ivory, both of Houston, Texas, Juanita Faulkner and husband, Herbert, and Aesha Ivory, all of Upper Marlboro, Md.; one son, Walter Ivory Jr. of Natchez; her mother of Natchez; one sister, Rosie Ivory of Natchez; one brother, Perry Carter of Natchez; eight grandchildren, Quantonio Williams, Queathan McKenzie, Dermalis Ivory, Sherlysta Faulkner, Dermerick Ivory, Jasmine Williams, Marcus Williams and Veronica Squalls; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
