McCall Creek — A gospel singing benefit will start at 4 p.m. today for Jimmy King at the McCall Creek Community Center.

King needs a heart transplant and has no insurance and is unable to work.

Some of the artists who will be performing are Messengers, Heart’s Desire, Stillwaters, Tammy Thurman, Mary Cox McCain, Bro. Derek Lambert, Allyson McLaurin, Cheryl Johnson and Robert Harris.

McCall Creek Community Center is located at 100 Magee Road in McCall. Take U.S. 84 west of Brookhaven to Burt Jordan Road, turn left and take another left on Magee Road.
