FAYETTE — Services for Archie Ball Hughes, 91, of Chicago, who died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at Evergreen Health Center in Evergreen Park, Ill., will be at noon today at Poplar Hill African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Elvis E. Colenburg officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home in Fayette.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Mr. Hughes was born Jan. 12, 1919. He attended Grant Memorial African Methodist Episcopal Church in Chicago.

Mr. Hughes also served in the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include a number of relatives and friends.
