SEMMES, Ala. — Services for John Willard Fauver, 74, of Wilmer, Ala., who died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at his residence, will be at 1 p.m. today at Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Gardens under the direction of Valhalla Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, Inc., in Semmes, Ala.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home.

Mr. Fauver was a native of Brookhaven. He was also a U.S. Army Korean veteran.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Ann Fauver.

Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Vanessa Fauver; five daughters, Jana Fauver, Karan Finegan and husband, John, Sherri Fauver, Trisha Duke and husband, Greg, and Joline McKenzie and husband, Keith; two sons, David Fauver and wife, Melinda, and Clarence Herring Jr. and wife, Jessica; one brother, Jimmy Fauver; one sister, Jean Gross; 12 grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
