NATCHEZ — Did you miss the chance to play a great April Fool’s Day joke this week?

The Democrat’s Relay for Life team wants to help you carry out a prank after all, raising money for cancer research along the way.

The Democrat is currently “Flocking for a cure.” Community members can purchase a flock of pink, plastic flamingos and have them sent to the yard of a friend or foe.

The newspaper staff will handle bird transportation and removal.

Orders can be placed online at www.misslouflocking.com or by calling 601-445-3617.

Flocks vary in price based on size and range from $25 to $100.

Anti-flocking insurance is available for $15 for those who’d rather not see the birds on their property.

All proceeds will go to Relay for Life.

Flocking will continue until May 6.

Flocking for a Cure T-shirts will be available at The Democrat’s North Canal Street office.
