WOODVILLE — Services for Sarah Smith Tolliver, 80, of Woodville, who died Friday, April 9, 2010, at her residence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Magnolia Baptist Church in Woodville with the Rev. Harold Smith officiating.
Burial will follow at Cedar Rest Cemetery No. 2 in Woodville under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tolliver was born July 14, 1929 in Wilkinson County, the daughter of Celius Tobe Smith and Carrie Jackson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Hill First Zion Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Thomas C. Tolliver Sr.; one son, Lawrence C. Tolliver; one daughter, Kimmy Faye Tollliver and one granddaughter, Tommie “Missy” Tolliver.
Survivors include five sons, Thomas C. Tolliver Jr. and wife Myrtis, Levi Crow Tolliver of West Monroe, La., Wade Tolliver and wife Dorothy of Raymond, Roy P. Tolliver and wife Rashelle of Woodville and Darrell Tolliver of Woodville; four daughters, Gloria Jean Ross of Summit, Jewerlene T. Arbuthnot of Woodville, Joyce Tolliver Harris and husband Joe of Woodville and Carrie E. Pate and husband Oliver of Garner, N.C.; three brothers, Williard L. Smith, Arthur Smith and Tobe J. Smith; three sisters, Mary C. Scott, Edna S. Gordon and Janice Fountain; 22 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Honorary pallbearers will sons and grandsons.
