VIDALIA — A Vidalia man faces the rest of his life in prison after a conviction for aggravated incest and aggravated rape.

John Luttrell was arrested in April 2009 on the charges, which involved a close family member.

The two-day judge trial ended Tuesday.

The defendant will be sentenced April 20.

The conviction for aggravated incest carries a penalty of 20 years.

Aggravated rape has a mandatory sentence of life.
