Yes, spring is definitely here — just look around you. Everyone is excitingly planting their flower beds and decorating their patios!

The Vidalia Women’s Club can help you! We are again preparing to host our annual hanging basket flower sale.

Miss-Lou Team Extreme will once again sponsor this sale to benefit Relay for Life.

So many of you are our regular annual flower customers, coming every year to scout out our beautiful hanging basket plants.

But for those of you who are not aware, we will have our flowers on display and ready for sale in the parking lot of Concordia Bank and Trust in Vidalia on from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday.

This year’s flower selection includes bougainvilleas, impatiens, wave petunias, scented geraniums, begonias and portulacas, with prices ranging from $12 to $18.

This would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift.
