To the voters of Concordia Parish, on behalf of the Concordia Parish School System, I would like to express my thanks to you for your vote of support in the renewal of the sales tax.

We greatly appreciate the confidence you have demonstrated by the 81 percent passage rate in Saturday’s election.

Your support will continue to enable the Concordia Parish School Board to provide benefits to all students, employees and schools through the payments of student and school allotments, salary supplements, utility fees and facility improvements.

Again, a special thanks to all of you who supported our sales tax renewal.

For those that did not vote “yes” this year, we hope to win your support as we continue to demonstrate sound fiscal management during these difficult economic times.

We will continue to strive for excellence in our schools and will do everything possible to ensure your continued support and belief in the system.
