Spring has arrived and crawfish are in season! This can only mean one thing — Crawfish Countdown!

This weekend is the 25th Annual Crawfish Countdown at Cathedral School. Come and join us in the school cafeteria and courtyard for our annual spring fundraiser. We will be serving all the fresh boiled crawfish with trimmings you can eat along with all the ice cold beverages you can drink from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Do not worry, if you are not a crawfish fan, we will also be serving home-made jambalaya and desserts.

Along with crawfish, ice cold beverages, jambalaya and desserts there will be plenty of great music and best of all a draw down for the $5,000 grand prize. Tickets for this great event are only $100. Where else can you get all this and a chance to win $5,000 for only $100?

Tickets to the Crawfish Countdown are available through the school development office in advance and at the door the night of the event. You can reach the development office by calling 601-445-4925.

Each ticket holder receives admittance for themselves and one guest to the countdown. For an additional $30 second chance insurance can be purchased.

If you purchase this insurance and your ticket is one of the first 100 drawn it will be placed back in the drawing one time for a second chance at the grand prize of $5,000. Along with all the fun, crawfish and a $5,000 grand prize there will also be other prizes given away throughout the evening. You cannot afford to miss all this fun and excitement!

In an effort to include everyone in this great event we have included a takeout option “crawfish and trimmings only” for $30 per person.

All take out orders can be purchased on the night of the Crawfish Countdown. Takeout orders will be prepared and packaged for you at the time of the order. Please be prepared to wait for all takeout orders. So come on out to the 25th annual Crawfish Countown at Cathedral School this Saturday. Fun will be had by all who attend. Who knows, you might be the lucky individual who walks away with the $5,000 grand prize. Just a polite reminder, you must be at least 21 years of age to attend this event. Hope to see you there.
