NATCHEZ — Relay for Life teams have turned in a total of $143,000 so far this year.

Fundraising continues until 7 a.m. Saturday, when the annual Relay for Life on the Vidalia Riverfront ends.

Bank night was Tuesday night, and many participating teams turned in the bulk of their money then.

The actual Relay starts at 6:15 p.m. Friday and continues all night long.

Food, toys and other items will be on sale during the event.

All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
