VIDALIA — At least one person involved in a Vidalia criminal incident was taken to Natchez Regional Medical Center at approximately 2 a.m. after gunfire.

The incident occurred on Martin Luther King Avenue at approximately 1:20 a.m.

Vidalia Police Chief Ronnie G. “Tapper” Hendricks would not release any information Saturday afternoon.
