On behalf of Catholic Charities, The Guardian Shelter, I would like to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Natchez Association of Letter Carriers and the U.S. Postal Service for participating in the Stamp out Hunger campaign on May 8.

The Guardian Shelter received a huge amount of non-perishable food items through this community-wide effort.

The food will provide nutritious meals to the victims of domestic violence that we serve.

A huge thank you to all who participated to make this event a tremendous success!

The community continues to be extremely supportive of the women and children of domestic violence housed at the shelter facility and Oak Towers Supportive Housing Program.

Because of your thoughtfulness, we can continue to prepare three hot meals per day for our shelter residents and assist consumers in our Oak Towers Supportive Housing program with food while they transition into independent living.

Because of your generosity, you have fulfilled one of our most needed necessities throughout the year.

The Guardian Shelter for Battered Families received the food donation with great appreciation, and together, we make a difference. Thank you, Natchez Association of Letter Carriers and the U.S. Postal Service personnel.

Donna Miller is the program director at the Guardian Shelter, an arm of Catholic Charities.
