NATCHEZ — Damien Henderson of Natchez was recently recognized the United States Achievement Academy as a student of excellence in science and band.

Henderson, a student at Robert Lewis Middle School, was nominated for this honor by teacher Jacqueline Smith. He will appear in the United States Achievement Academy’s official yearbook which is published nationally.

Henderson is the son of Barbara Henderson of Natchez. His grandparents are Bradford Henderson Jr. of Natchez and Elnora M. Hendersono of Baton Rouge.
