NATCHEZ — An Adams County man was arrested Friday for allegedly touching a child inappropriately.

Jeremy Michael Sikes, 26, 6 Sara Fork was arrested Friday on charges of molesting/touching a child or mentally defective or physically handicapped person for lustful purpose.

Adams County Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said the child’s parent made the complaint on April 21.

Sikes was released on $5,000 bond.

Mayfield said no other details of the case could be released in order to protect the identity of the victim.
