Search for Ferriday football coach almost over
FERRIDAY — The process in finding a new head football coach should soon be wrapping up for Ferriday High School.
After interviewing an undisclosed number of candidates, Ferriday principal Michelle Bethea said Tuesday that the decision lies in the hands of Concordia school board officials.
“I have made a recommendation to the school board (on which candidate to hire),” Bethea said.
Bethea wouldn’t give any other comments on the coaching search, and said she isn’t sure of a timetable as to when the board will make a decision.
