NATCHEZ — Services for Lillie Mae Gaylor-Searcy, 80, of Natchez, who died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope The Vision Center.
Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday, both at the church.
Mrs. Searcy was born June 30, 1929, in Natchez, the daughter of Charlie Childs Gaylor and Eliza Proby-Gaylor. She was a member of the Mothers Board and Word Ministries.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Argentor Searcy Sr.; one sister; and one brother.
Survivors include 11 loving children, Juanita Searcy, Clarence Searcy and wife, Roberlyn, Evelyn Searcy-Thames and husband, Earl, Barbara Searcy-White, Argentor Searcy and wife, Mila, Joyce Searcy-Clark and husband, Charlie, Charlie Searcy, Stanley Searcy and wife, Brenda, Stephen Searcy and wife, Renee, Angela Searcy-Latham and husband, Charlie, and Felicia Wells-Bowser and husband, Jerome; 38 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one sister; and a number of other relatives and friends.
