Census repetition is simply too much

I do realize and support the need for a census.
We as citizens of the greatest nation in the world must support this endeavour, to receive federal monies, grants, aid for housing, bridges, roads — the list is endless
However, after I filled out a form and mailed it the same day, I received another 10 days later saying the first was not received.
Blaming our U.S. Mail was first and foremost to mind, but that was wrong. Then, a week later, a census worker came to my door and I answered all her questions again, still wondering what became of the two forms I had mailed.
Lo and behold, 10 days later another worker showed up with the same form.
I am 91 years of age and tired of the ineptitude of this farce.
I am of the opinion these people are trying to make a full-time career of this job.
Some of my friends have not even been contacted to play this little game.
Please, put me on the bench and let someone else play.
I am tired of being disturbed at meal time by the same old, same old.
Thank you for letting me get this off my chest.
